As you may have seen or heard, Fickle Skateboards just spent the better part of a week in Savannah and we had a great time.
What a bunch of genuinely awesome people! This is the closest you will get to seeing professional skateboarders without the high-pay (unfortunately for them) and the attitude. Only thing missing is the title… the skills are all there! Best of all, they arrived, mingled with everyone at the park and skated their souls out with us… No demos, no bullshit… Just raw skating.
On the front lines (reads: ripping our ramps) you get Josh, Ben, Aaron, Nik, Weston and Forrest… throwing everything they have at you… every day, all the time… This past week we had so many NBS (never before seen) tricks at the park that we lost count… But fear not… Boe recorded most of it and will be releasing them as we go…
Behind the scenes but also on a board, you get (just push 30mph) Lew… Cool, collected, positive and with enough energy to make you want to get on that board and rip with them… He oozes good vibes and inspiration to me (personally) and to our crew at the skatepark… If you missed their visit, you really missed out – nothing much else to say – but they will be back! So, buck up and skate on until that happens…
On the same subject, keep an eye out for new (home pressed and finished) decks from Fickle! Without putting a big foot in my mouth, I’ll say they will be out soon… so stay tuned and get pumped!
